And every city,
and every palace,
crumbled at the sound of a mere word,
his empire collapsed, but nothing was ever heard.
And so did he die,
at the sound of treachery,
of his dearest friend,
of the embellished mockery.
from his friendship end.
Yet for a few seconds did he breathe,
to feel the dying pain,
of his friends deception,
to finally see his exile ordain.
He had reached the sky,
Only to be pushed down,
by the one he trusted the most.
He had fell down his throne,
because of one single lie.
And so perished the great Caesar,
who thought he could not die.
